Our Story

Golden Prairie Skin Co. began out of personal necessity.
At 30 years old, I suddenly developed painfully dry skin around my eyes and began searching for relief. After doctor visits and prescriptions failed to help, I began to research for myself in hopes of a true, long-term solution.

That search led to the very first batch of what would become The Golden Balm.

Over the next five years, I slowly refined the formula until it felt just right. While it has become so much more, it still remains the only product that hydrates my eyes without burning.
During my time of carefully refining the blend, I also began questioning the products labeled *good enough* for my babies. It didn’t take long before I realized The Golden Balm was the only thing I trusted for all of our skin needs.
Becoming the best part of mom's daily skincare routine, providing gentle hydration for littles and those with sensitive skin, and bringing comforting relief for hardworking hands.

What began as a personal need quietly became our family staple — the thing I can confidently offer the aging hands of those we love, and the neglected palms of the hard workers in our lives. Through Oklahoma winds, chapped cheeks, dry lips, and irritated little skin, The Golden Balm has always been the jar we keep within reach — bringing comfort, protection, and lasting hydration in every season.
